so when I say console port, I mean an Xbox or PS2 port. handheld controller) and the graphics (improved detail in textures and wireframe models because monitors show off all the imperfections in ways your TV does not - but that is changing a lot with new TVs and consoles) your console game which was sorta fun SUCKS on the pc. I am not trying to pin anything on consoles, but when you port a console game right to PC without rethinking the controls (kb + mouse vs. Don't buy it for PC AT LEAST until the relase patch #2, and only then if they fix these problems. I'm lucky to have an N52, so I only needed to rebind 1 key, but it was still a pain in the ass. And the key bindings wouldn't save after you quit the program. You can't even navigate the menus with a mouse. I was lucky that it worked fine for me (more or less), but it did crash a couple of times. I've also read numerous reports of it not working on PC's, moreso than is usual for a new game. The biggest pity is how good it could have been. It's not Enter the Matrix bad, but a lot of code was pulled from ETM and that should tell you something. WTF!? Utterly inappropriate for this kind of material, especially as there are parts that try very hard to mimic the tone of the movies, cyper punk in general, as well as film noir. Not the new boss you may or may not have seen, but that they play Queen's "We are the Champions" at the end. I won't even mention the ending, but I was pissed at it. I like Paul Goddard (Agent Brown in Matrix 1) and you couldn't even tell it was meant to be him. The fighting is fun (kicking 3 people in the head at once never gets old) and the sound was excellent (even the substitute voice actors), but the graphics suck ard, especially compared to the consoles *gag.* The really F'ed some of the faces, particularly the Agents. I also got the game (being a HUGE Matrix fan I had to) and it is pretty lame.
